Yesterday I played about 10 minutes of poker. Just enough on Tilt on two tables of 25nl FR to earn an FTP for the September promotion. I haven’t played cash there a lot, but even to me it seems like there are more short stackers than usual; people with small bankrolls trying to get their FTP point faster by playing a higher buyin level than normal, though some of them are actually decent short stack players. The day before I stacked the guy to my left in a B vrs B battle by raising and then putting him in when he reraised. It turned out he had KK in the BB, to my AA in the SB. And last night a guy on both of my tables doubled up with AT on a T high flop when the blind just flatted his late position raise and then called his flop shove with his AK that missed. Later on the other table there’s a raise from the highjack position, he shoves over top from CO, I unhappily fold my AQs in the BB, mid position calls, his AK losing to the SS TT, and the SS politely plays until the blind comes to him and then sits out and leaves, kinda the way I used to SS.
