Lack of confidence right now. I’m unwilling to raise anything but premium hands, TT+ and AJ+, unless in very late position with no limpers ahead.

Actually, when I look at that, that’s not so bad. That’s actually not far off what should be happening. I don’t limp if I’m first in, unless it’s KQ/KJ/QJ in early position and I’m prepared to throw it away to a raise, just because they’re easily dominated.

Maybe my “lack of confidence” is really the basic TAG style vrs my expectations of playing more LAG. Not just limping connectors late behind others, but being willing to raise from mid/early with them as well. And to collect “dead money”, like joose suggests. Put the pressure on, make them make the tough decisions.

I’m also realizing that I still get hung up on big pairs. I’m trying to be willing to fold them post flop if I think there’s a good chance that I’m beat.
